Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Today I completed 23 weeks of my pregnancy. I must say time is moving quite fast for me recently, especially since I came back to my 3 days a week blogging schedule. It is keeping me quite busy in the evenings and I am enjoying that a lot. Thanks to my symptom free second trimester! I hope these energetic days continue all through :).
Wearing a chambray shirt-dress by Imanimo. It’s a recent buy and I have already worn it many times as it is one of those few maternity dresses that you can’t go wrong with. In the beginning of my pregnancy it was bit uncomfortable for me to transition into this whole maternity wardrobe and adjusting to my new body. I would also blame it on my inability to find really well fitted clothes that are in line with my personal style. I remember showing up at work looking offbeat and uneasy as I was still experimenting with this new world of maternity fashion. Slowly slowly I got into the groove and even found ways to utilize my existing clothing, especially the shift dresses, fit & flare skirts and oversized blouses. Now in my second trimester it has almost become necessary to invest in maternity styles to stay comfortable with my growing belly. My chances of buying a maternity dress highly depends on how well I can utilize it post pregnancy. This shirt-dress dress I am wearing is something that I can easily wear later by adding a sleek belt.
Also In love with these fringe booties. I have been looking for such style for quite some time and finally found this perfect pair. The chestnut color is adding a dash of Fall to this look and complements the blue dress quite well.
Picked this clutch with an intend to add some colors. Love the fabric and tassel detail that gives a subtle ethnic vibe. Great piece to punch up any outfit!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a great start of the week!
