Color palette this season is something that I am truly excited about. In every big designer’s showcase collections during fashion weeks, the colors stood out more than the designs themselves and that left no mystery in what to expect at our favorite stores. We got a mix of earthy neutrals and bold hues symbolizing nature and warmth this year. Some of them are on repeat from last year but trending higher than ever before. They all are truly timeless and strong enough to make a statement.
I will begin with highlighting my most favorite – The Oak buff especially that has a shade of golden yellow/mustard in it. To me its the warmest and happiest color ever. It is also something that would look great on any skin tone. Bought a dress recently in this color that I can’t wait to share on the blog.
Olive green is also hot this season and I really feel it is one of those warm colors that reflect poise, class and confidence.
Also the new elevated burgundy is back with slightly new name “Marsala” and it is rich and sophisticated than ever before. It instantly sends warmth even before you wear it. Just a glance of it is enough to get the striking heat.
There is always something cool to tame down the warmth and create a balance, and Teal blue would do that Job beautifully this season. It has all the soothing qualities of tropical blue and energizing aspect of green making it very pleasant and inviting.
Grey is still posh and stands as symbol of quality and sophistication. It doesn’t let you look anywhere close to dull and boring.
Shades of subdued pinks and vibrant purples are also creating waves. Most popularly known as Cashmere Rose and Amethyst Orchid. The former is more soft, compelling and prosperous and latter is more reflective of vibrancy and boldness.
Timeless shades of navy and orange is still quite popular this season and you can’t go wrong with the impression they create. Navy is another favorite of mine and you may have noticed me wearing it quite a bit since I started the blog.
Orange on the other hand has touch of playfulness, fun and sensuality. No wonder it is also the color of the upcoming holiday! Halloween is just around the corner friends! Cheers to that and our love for seasonal colors!
I hope you enjoyed reading this and as always thanks for stopping by!
