I had a notion for a long time that Maternity clothes are boring and available in limited styles. But after stepping into my third trimester my idea about them has changed quite a bit and thanks to Motherhood Maternity for introducing me to so many chic options. This plaid skirt is from one of their collection and it is super cute and trendy. It has a fit-and-flare silhouette with pull-on style that comes with a maternity waist band (A big plus). Perfect piece to wear at work or in the evening. I paired it with a bright red sweater and a camel cape, both non-maternity. I love how this cape can be worn post-maternity as well. It can also be easily thrown with a pair of skinny pants and would look equally chic. I added a statement necklace to make it evening ready and love how it looks when worn over the cape. This can also be a perfect Thanksgiving or holiday party look!
PS – I try not to skip Wednesdays but looks like it is becoming a norm recently. Despite having enough content, my energy level declines quite a bit as the work week progresses, mainly due to being in third trimester and juggling a full time corporate job. Having said that, Wednesdays are still not officially out yet and I am gonna try to post when I can. I hope you all understand. :)
Thanks a lot for stopping by & wish you all a wonderful weekend! xo
