Hello Everyone! I am back! Sorry I was absent for a bit longer than planned as I have been busy working on some other cool projects and also some key changes came along in life that needed my focus. I will be revealing all soon so bare with me a little!:) I hope you all are enjoying the beautiful Summer!
I want to give here a little vacation update. We took two weeks off this June with the intend to relax as much as possible and it was a mission successful. We planned a trip to Catskills NY and I must say it was one of the wonderful experience we ever had. Both me and Eric love nature and mountains so this was the perfect place to pick for this time of the year. The commute was also ideal as we wanted to go somewhere that won’t take us more than 2 hours to reach by road. We stayed in Woodstock Inn located on 3 acre property with cascading millstream, luscious gardens and tall pines, willows, and maples trees surrounding the property. They offer beautiful private cottages, bungalows and rooms with private patios and decks. For first few days we rented one of their newly constructed room with private patio, spa bath, separate dinning area and kitchen, and I must say it felt absolutely like home and we couldn’t have ask for any better place to be. The stream was passing right by the patio and we could hear the water flowing all the time. The plan was to stay there for 4 days till my birthday but we decided to extend our stay for two more days and shifted to a private bungalow and that experience was also a remarkable one. During the day we explored the town of historic Woodstock full or art and music. The town is a different world of its own, artistic vibe all around, super friendly people and delicious food. We visited many local farmer’s markets and street fairs, grabbed fresh fruits and veggies on our way everyday. Some days we would drive to Catskill mountain area for a long drive watching beautiful houses built inside dense forests and hilly areas, and randomly stopping at beautiful lakes and farms to have a little picnic.
After a wonderful week at Catskill we came back to our hood and enjoyed the additional week literally doing nothing but just chilling at home and exploring the city. Sometimes you just need a vacation out of a vacation so that extra week gave us exactly that. After those two weeks it is hard to explain where the additional two months went. All I can say is some major changes happened in life that I am very excited to share with all my readers soon. But for now I am even more excited to be back writing the blog and sharing my usual style posts.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
